This Vortex Roller Gate is used to discharge barley out of individual holding bins and into a mechanical conveying system. The barley is conveyed into a batch hopper. Previously, the client had issues with barley flooding the mechanical conveying system. This also created inconsistent brewing batches. To address these issues, modifications were made to the Vortex Roller Gate to allow for quicker actuation and the ability to limit the opening stroke.
