Do Vortex products come with a warranty?

Vortex warrants all goods or parts sold by Vortex to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of shipment, when used according to Vortex’s recommended usages. Click here to read Vortex’s warranty statement.

When was Vortex founded?

Vortex was founded in 1977 by Loren Neil Peterson and his son-in-law, Lee Young. The company was established with its patented Vortex Orifice Gate – the first valve designed specifically for handling dry bulk solid materials. Since then, Vortex has established more than 20 innovative valve designs which are being used by more than 20,000 factories in 80 countries to handle thousands of material types. Engineered Solutions for handling dry bulk have always been a part of Vortex. Our Application Engineers listen to the customer’s needs and match the right valve to material characteristics and application parameters. Because the combinations are nearly endless, a commodity valve or off the shelf valve will not be enough. How do I return a product?

To request a return, fill out a Return Merchandise Authorization form here. All return requests will be evaluated prior to authorizing the return. Not all requests will result in authorization for return. Please do not return a product until a Vortex sales support team member has contacted you to do so.
