Application:
These chainwheel operated Vortex Roller Gates will be located 10-12 feet off the ground. In order to open the gates, the client’s employees had to climb in order to manually do so. The chainwheels feature a looped chain so they are able to be opened from the floor.
• Valve body is 6061-T6 aluminum with a 304 stainless steel blade and seal retainers.
• Material contact is 304 stainless steel and polymer.
• Milled access slots in side frame allow for removal and replacement of bonnet seals while the gate valve remains in service.
• Manual chainwheel actuator with LH acme threads and a rising stem (five revolutions per inch of travel).
