Application:
Insoluble sulfur is a vulcanizing agent used in the tire industry. During vulcanizing, the raw rubber is heat treated with sulfur to improve the rubber’s elasticity and strength. This process is critical for the manufacture of radial tires.

Features: These Vortex HDPV2 Slide Gates will handle non-abrasive powders at higher conveying line pressures. The gates are equipped with special service inlets to minimize material contact with the seals and extend the overall gate life.

Wetted parts are 304 stainless steel.

The Vortex HDPV2 Gate features a patented “rising blade” design for positive seal of material across the blade.
