This Rounded Blade Gate will be located below a hopper and will handle fines up to 2” chunks of sodium silicate solid glass.
The Vortex Rounded Blade Gate is designed to meet the most demanding applications when handling heavy-duty abrasive materials. This gate’s heavy duty valve body is carbon steel plate with abrasion resistant 400 BHN minimum carbon steel blade. A plain carbon steel guard protects the actuator shaft and proximity switches while the valve remains in service.
