Application:
The gates are being used as maintenance gates beneath product silos. Metallurgical coke is a basic raw material used for the production of pig iron and steel.
Features:
The Vortex Titan Slide Gate Hand Crank Model features a non-rising stem geared to close through a standing column of material if necessary (five revolutions of the crank move the blade one inch).
To address the tiny size of the material handled (6-20 mesh), the gates were manufactured with fine material bonnet seals and polymer end seals (no displacement pocket).
