To our valued customers and partners,
At Vortex, we realize that many of our products are at the heart of your critical processes. We also understand that many of our customers are also involved with critical infrastructure in this time of a National Emergency, as it applies to the COVID-19 pandemic. In accordance to U.S. Homeland Security’s Guidance on the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce: Ensuring Community and National Resilience in COVID-19 Response, and by decree of several companies we supply, Vortex’s business operations are considered “Essential Business” and its employees are considered an “Essential Infrastructure Workforce”. Vortex will remain operational as long as this guidance remains in place or we are instructed to cease activities by Federal, State, and/or local authorities.
As a company that manufactures and distributes critical process equipment utilized in the production of food, medicine, cleaning agents, emergency utility vehicles, medical equipment, toilet paper, tissues, petroleum, batteries, etc., we are aware our equipment is vital to the supply chain of these products across the world. Production is especially critical right now to meet the sudden increased consumer, retail and medical demand.
Though our workforce may be impacted by the COVID-19 virus, Vortex will do everything at our disposal to continue production of much needed equipment. The health and safety of our employees is paramount; therefore, we have introduced the measures of social distancing, reducing population density (when possible), and are engaging in hygienic practices around our facilities.
Thank you for your partnership in this difficult circumstance. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me at 785-825-7177.
