SOLIDS Dortmund 2020 has been postponed from April 1-2, 2020 to June 24-25, 2020 due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. For updates and additional details, please visit the SOLIDS Dortmund website at: https://www.solids-dortmund.de/en/.

Vortex Global will display select products from its Titan and Quantum Series of slide gates and diverter valves at the SOLIDS Dortmund 2020 Trade Show, April 1-2 in Dortmund, Germany.

SOLIDS Dortmund brings together international exhibitors to showcase technologies and solutions for the processing, handling, storage, transport and analysis of powders, granules and bulk solids. Featuring more than 500 exhibitors and 6,200 visitors, the show is attended by representatives from the mechanical and plant engineering, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, mining, stone and earth extraction, food and feed, metal, glass and recycling industries.

Representing Vortex at stand M06-5, Business Development Manager Andrew Davies, Managing Director Laurence Millington, and German Vortex representatives Adams Industrievertretungen will be available to discuss products from Vortex’s Titan and Quantum Line of slide gates and diverter valves.

The Vortex Quantum Series features slide gates and diverters used to shut off, meter, divert and converge dry bulk solid materials in gravity flow and pneumatic conveying processes. A key feature of these products is in-line maintainability and the need for minimal spare parts. Industries served by the Quantum Series include, but are not limited to, agriculture, chemical, coffee, dairy, foods, milling, pet food, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, plastics, rubber, textiles, tobacco and wood.

The Vortex Titan Series features slide gates and diverters that are engineered for heavy-duty material handling applications. These applications include materials that pose excessive abrasion or wear issues, situations that call for extremely large sized valves/diverters, and conditions that warrant additional considerations that will allow these valves to be as successful as possible in extremely harsh environments.
